Calling All Beauty by Jeunique Distributors

The passing away of Mulford Nobbs (Nobby as he liked to be called) in September is forcing the company to discontinue further operations for all of the current distributors and customers.

Customer Service Duties

Customer service duties should not be taken lightly no matter what area of the market you're working in. Whether it's a brick and mortar building where customers come to you or your home based business where you'll meet people that become your customers over the phone, online or in person.

Customer service duties done well will reward you in return customers, loyal brand customers, repeat customers, referrals and growth in your business. Follow these tips to provide excellent customer service that will help you gain a reputation of loving what you do and doing it well, making people want to do business with you now and in the future.

* Smile - a simple gesture of a smile whether in person or on the phone can be seen and felt by the other person. A smile goes a long way to show sincerity and love of what you do.

* Excitement - be excited in what you're doing and selling. Knowing that you are helping someone is very rewarding not only to you but, to customers as well.

* Attention - pay attention to what the customer is saying to determine their true needs and wants. You can help customers by providing what they need and not what you want or need to sell them.

* Knowledge - being knowledgeable in your area of expertise will allay a customers concerns and they will be more willing to work with you and to buy from you.

* Trustworthy - be trustworthy with your customers. If you say you'll do something or be somewhere when you say you will, do it. Make no excuses. Customers want and need to believe that you are who you say you are. The more trust you build, the better your relationship with your customer be grow.

* Communicate - one of the very important customer service duties you have is to communicate effectively with your customers. If you know of a great sale, deal or other benefit to your customer, be sure to share it. Communicating with your customer shows your interest in them and wanting them to get the best deal for their time and money.

* Provide Value - providing value about your company, new products, research and benefits of products will encourage a customer to get excited when you contact them. They'll be eager to hear from you knowing that you always offer them valuable information that can help them to look and feel their best.

* Relationship building - starting a customer relationship and building it will ensure that you get to know your customer, their likes, dislikes, their needs now and in the future will help your customer as well as yourself. The more you know your customer, the more enjoyable it will be to call or see them. Friendships grow as relationships build and these can last a lifetime!

* Inform - inform your customers if you are planning a move or relocation to other area of the country. Many times, customers are the last to know that you have moved and they will try to contact someone else if they can't reach you. That doesn't look good for you, your products or your company and you should try to avoid this at all costs. If you won't be doing your business any longer, simply telling your customer and trying to help them find someone to replace you before they need something will be most appreciated by your customer.

* Have fun! Have fun with customers and you'll enjoy what you're doing, it will help your business grow and prosper.

* Repeat - repeat these actions and the more you do it, the better you'll get. You'll become a leader in no time and others will look to you for your expertise and advice.

Summer Festivals - Networking your Nutrimetics/Avalla Home Based Business

Summer festivals are a fun and fairly easy way to network and grow your Nutrimetics/Avalla home business. You'll want to set up your display table, products, information and meet new and interesting people interested in your Nutrimetics/Avalla business.

I just finished attending one this past weekend (and the reason for my delay in blogposting)and had such a great time. Here are some tips for setting up a table or booth at a summer festival near you!

Find an upcoming event from your local newspaper, internet, chamber of commerce or through friends and find out what the cost is. If you know someone with a business, you can usually set up a table on their property without a fee, as long as it's not on the city property.

Decide on what you'd like to share at the festival. I set up a small display of current inventory with some sale prices that people could take home that day. I also made a gift basket to be raffled if anyone filled out a short survey card that asked their name and contact information, if they were interested in products, interested in hosting an event for free and discounted products or interested in hearing about the Nutrimetics/Avalla opportunity.

Create an attractive and eye catching table display: Use a nice tablecloth, lifts for products and gift basket to be raffled, survey cards, some brochures, flyers or other literature that customers can take, your business cards. Showcase the Nutrimetics/Avalla brand with a banner across the front of the table that is easily visible to passersby.

When the festival or event is ready to start, you should be all set up and ready to greet customers/guests. A simple hello is usually enough to get a chat started without being pushy. Ask them if they'd like to register to win the gift basket by filling out the survey.

As guests are filling out the survey, you can introduce yourself, tell a little about the company and what you offer ie. free facials, makeovers or hot towel relaxation sessions. Many will be interested and you may be able to book appointments on the spot.

Sell your products, book one on one appointments, book group presentations and book sponsoring appointments with anyone interested in hearing more about the Nutrimetics/Avalla opportunity.

At the end of the event, carefully pack your supplies and keep your leads and appointment book ready for the following day. Calling prospects within 72 hours is usually a good idea so that they will still remember you from the event.

Good luck on your summer festivals! It's a great way to get out and meet new people as they are out and about. Go to where the people are and you will meet customers and consultants for your team. It's a fun and easy way of networking and growing your business.

Becky Stack 1939 - 2010


I first met Becky Stack on March 10, 1994 during my early years involved as a Consultant with Nutrimetics International. My Director, Mary Beth Finley, was receiving her FREE 1994 BMW 3181 for outstanding sales, sponsoring and business development during an awards presentation ceremony and celebration held at Donzi’s Riverwatch Room in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Becky was Mary Beth’s Mom and she was also a successful leader in her own right with Nutrimetics having won numerous trips, awards and her own vehicle as well.

When she walked into the room and not knowing who she was at the time, I immediately was drawn to this beautiful, vibrant, well dressed and colorful woman beaming from head to toe with a gorgeous sincere smile that lit up her eyes and entire face. As one of the newbies, I merely observed her and really couldn’t take my eyes off of her.

Imagine my surprise when she walked up to me and introduced herself and told me that she had heard so much about me and how well I was doing in my new Nutrimetics business. Becky made me feel totally special, loved and appreciated and I felt so inspired after spending this evening with her.

We hit it off from the start because of her leadership and attention that she gave to me, her encouraging words of support, her knowledge, empathy and understanding of the direct selling business. I looked forward to all future trainings especially knowing that Becky would be there – she always shared her contagious smile, words of wisdom, truth and no one laughed more sincere or hearty than Becky Stack. She loved life, she loved people, she loved our business and everyone noticed it!

Becky was so positive, fun and cheerful even when times were tough. She saw the good in everyone and had some very creative ideas to help us grow our businesses. She was willing to do and to try everything and I’ll always love, appreciate and respect her for the time that she spent with me and the other developing leaders of our business. She continued to expand her business as Avalla became the distributor of Nutrimetics in North America and she didn't quit when many others had.

Many times, the leaders of a successful company are aloof and standoffish to newer or younger people and we only know them from the podium that they stand behind. Becky was not like that at all, she was bigger than life, she enjoyed every moment of it and she will leave her mark on all that knew her forever.

I learned so much from Becky and will aspire to be more of a mentor and leader like her: to treat people kindly, sweetly, with sincere honesty and transparency in hopes that there may be a special celebration/meeting/training in the future and someone may be watching me with hopeful eyes.

Thank You, God for bringing Becky Stack to me and so many others whose hearts and lives would be changed forever for simply having met. Rest in peace, my friend

Avalla Executive Retreat Results

What is Nutrimetics USA/Avalla

This blog discusses Nutrimetics USA/Avalla and you may be wondering who and what is Nutrimetics and Avalla. This post will describe the company to help your understanding and to help you make great choices in products and in choosing a home business.
